New Year

As Mikayla and Josh were wrestling, she told him to get away from her balls. I explained to her that that was not what they were called and she didn't have them. They were testicles. Then, when picking her up from dancing, Josh tackled her again--she yelled out: Get off me! You are crushing my testicles. I guess she didn't get the whole picture. I don't think anyone else heard that but I cracked up.

Mikayla went back to school after Christmas and asked if she could give a gift to Mr. Gapp. Yes, that would be nice. I thought she was drawing him something because she asked for a coffee cup and I thought she was going to trace something with it. After the fact, I realized what she had done. She took the coffee cup and put a pad of paper and a pencil in it. I wonder what he thought about getting a used coffee cup as a gift (hopefully it wasn't dirty). I have debated letting him know but I'll probably just let it go.
